The Company offers a collateral proposal that aims to teach the audience through different flamenco activities, which include seminars and flamenco workshops in the community or city where a performance will be held, in order to familiarize the public with the wonders of the flamenco culture.
These activities can take place in universities, residences, institutions, during performance dates or at any other time or venue. For more than ten years, the Dance School Miura Expresión Flamenca (www.miuraexpresionflamenca.com) has been the base of the preparation of the members of the company, musicians and dancers alike, who also have a wide experience in contemporary ballet and flamenco courses in Spain and other countries. Being them, in charge of instructing and convening the workshops and seminars.
The following are the activities that we offer:
Workshops:- Flamenco guitar workshop.
- Percussion workshop.
- Flamenco dance for young people and adults.
- Flamenco dance for children.
- Seminar: "Introduction to Flamenco": What is flamenco and what are its roots (Spanish & English)
- Short presentations in non conventional spaces.
Any other activity proposed by the event organizers.
